Privacy policy

What we collect: your name or nickname, your email, the message and optional image you submit, and — if you pay — payment details handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

What we use it for: printing and mailing your letter, sending you order confirmations and status updates, and preventing abuse (we keep a hashed, non-reversible identifier of your connection for rate limiting; we do not store your IP address).

Images: identifying metadata (EXIF, including location) is stripped from uploaded images automatically. Images appear publicly only if you chose to publish and the message passed review.

Sharing: we do not sell or rent your data. It is shared only with the services needed to deliver the order (Stripe for payment, the postal service for delivery, our email provider for confirmations).

Retention and deletion: order records are kept for as long as needed to fulfil, refund, and account for the order. Email info@mailmaduro.com from the address you used and we will delete your data, except what we must keep for payment or legal records.
